WebLogic Error: more than the configured time (StuckThreadMaxTime) of “600” seconds

I came into the below error in Oracle BI Publisher when ran a  report that takes more time to produce output  


BI Publisher Error in the WebLogic Server Log 

The highlighted red color text indicates the root cause of the error.

which is more than the configured time (StuckThreadMaxTime) of “600” seconds. Stack trace: null>




Adjust the following settings to Admin and Managed servers in WebLogic server


  Default Value Suggested Value
Admin and Managed Server Stuck Thread Max Time=600
Stuck Thread Timer Interval=60
Max Stuck Thread Time=600
Stuck Thread Max Time=2400
Stuck Thread Timer Interval=2400
Max Stuck Thread Time=2400


how to Set this value: 


  • Log in to WebLogic console 


  • Click on the Admin server >> Click on the Configuration tab >> Tuning tab and set the below values 




  • Click on the OverLoad tab and set the below value 



  • Report the steps and apply to all  managed servers

    Hi Govind,
    Thanks for ur reply.
    I installed Weblogic 11g as production on Linux….

    1. Took backup of AdminServer directory.
    [[email protected] server]# mv AdminServer /root/Oracle/Middle ware/user_projects/domains/fmm/server/AdminServer_backup

    2. I run the command ./setWLSEnv.sh in below path
    /root/Oracle/Middleware/else ever_10.3/server/bin/
    [[email protected] bin]# ./setWLSEnv.sh

    3. I took backup of DefaultAuthenticator.Idift_backup in security directory

    [[email protected] security]# mv DefaultAuthenticator.Idift /root/Oracle/Middleware/user_projects/domains/fmm/security/DefaultAuthenticator.Idift_backup

    4. I try to run this script java Weblogic.security.utils.AdminAccount weblogic weblogic123 in the path…
    [[email protected] ~]# cd /root/Oracle/Middleware/user_projects/domains/fmm/security/

    [[email protected] security]# java Weblogic.security.utils.AdminAccount weblogic weblogic123.

    Below this line i got
    -bash: java: command not found.

    U said jdk home but don’t have that as it is production i have jrockit…

    I’m sorry I didn’t got that jdk home.
    When u have the time can u plz help me out on this to re-create username and password on weblogic 11g. On Linux OS.

    The command JAVA is reside under bin directory. For example:
    c:program_filesjavajdk1.~binjava weblogic.security.utils.AdminAccount Web logic weblogic123

    Hope ur doing good, thanks for sharing knowledge.
    To re-create username and password for Web logic 11g on Linux, at 6th step I’m getting like this.
    [[email protected] security]# java weblogic.security.utils.AdminAccount Web logic weblogic123.

    -bash: java: command not found
    Can u help me on this…….
