Primavera P6 16.2: EPS and Activity page display ‘Code Value’ instead of ‘Code
Before Primavera P6 16.2, The EPS and Activity page displays the ‘Code description’ in the Project/Activity code fields.
Oracle altered this feature from 16.2 to 17.7, ON those releases P6 displays ‘Code Value‘ in the EPS/Activity pages due to an enhancement request. Those who rely on the Code Description will lose it if they upgrade their older P6 version to 16.2- 17.7.
But the good news is, Oracle released a new FEATURE ‘New Code Display Setting’ in P6 17.8 which I have mentioned below. Now, we can have more control than the existing version.
The option is available in Administration >> Application Settings >> General >> Under Codes

A P6 patch (16.2.10) is released on September,17 which has the above-introduced feature who wants it in release 16.2. J
