P6 Progress Reporter completely integrated into P6 Team Member from 15.1 

 

One of the most often questions asked by these days by users is about Installation instruction of Primavera P6 Progress Reporter. The Progress reporter is completely merged with P6 Team Member since P6 15.1 version onwards. Please read the below comment from Oracle documentation. 

 

Uninstalling Previous Versions of P6 Progress Reporter

 

If you are upgrading from P6 EPPM version 6.2.1 or earlier, Oracle recommends that you first uninstall the existing Group Server. If you are upgrading from P6 EPPM version 7.0 or later, you must uninstall the previous version of P6 Progress Reporter before upgrading to the current version.

 

Note: P6 Progress Reporter functionality has been fully integrated into P6 Team Member Web. After you reinstall P6 Team Member, you can log into P6 Team Member Web to see all of your tasks and timesheet data.

    Hi Govind… I was going through the configuration guide for P6 Team Member and found in my weblogic server that, the Team member file “p6tm.ear” is already configured and running (as I followed only your steps for installing P6 EPPM 17.7). Also, when I check the URL for Team Member it is allowing me to log in and am seeing tabs of My Activities, Timesheets and Application Settings.

    My question here is, is there any additional configuration steps involved? Can the users directly start using Team Member features and get or update Primavera details in it,, without having to perform any further configuration? If there is some configuration/integration to EPPM required to pull data from Primavera, please let me know how?
