This section, we walk through how to install Oracle Access Manager (OAM) in WebLogic Server. This post is the continuation of Oracle Identity Manager installation. Here we are extending an existing IDM domain present in WebLogic to support OAM.

Pre-Requisite:

Oracle Identity Manager Installed

Oracle Access Management Installation

My Middleware Location: C:\Oracle\Middleware1136

My Identity Manager domain location: C:\Oracle\Middleware1136\user_projects\domains\idm_domain

1. Go to MW_HOME\Oracle_IDM2\common\bin & run the config.cmd

2. Select the ‘Extend an existing WebLogic domain

3. Select the IDM domain

4. Select Oracle Access Management and Mobile Security Suite

5. Make sure you provided database details for OAM MDS SCHEMA, OAM Infrastructure
, and OMSM Schema. Click Next

6. Test the connections are successful. Click Next

6. Click Next

7. Click Extend

8. Click Done

Start Oracle Access Manager in WebLogic

 

1. Start the Admin Server 

 

Wait till the Adminserver runs in Running mode

Login into the WebLogic console (http://localhost:7001/console) and click servers. You will find the Oracle Access Management server names and port.

2. Start OAM Policy Manager

Syntax: startManagedWeblogic.cmd <SERVER_NAME> http://<ADMINSERVER>:PORT

 

3. Start OMSM Server

 

4. Start OAM Server

 

Test Oracle Access Manager

Go to Access Manager URL and login. Replace the hostname and port with yours 
http://localhost:14100/oam or http://localhost:7001/oamconsole/

After Login, you will get redirected to Launch pad like below
