Oracle BPEL Subprocess Pass by Value and Pass by reference

Oracle BPEL supports both the pass by Value & pass by reference when we pass variable to the subprocess. For pass a variable by reference, Just toggle off the COPY BY VALUE checkbox when calling a subprocess like below, that is if the content of the variable changed in the subprocess it reflects in the calling process. Toggle on the checkbox if you want to pass copy by value.

For instance, Below I am passing a Boolean variable status(False) to a variable substatus in subprocess using pass by reference. Assume, The value is changed to TRUE in the subprocess. It reflects in the calling process, that is STATIS is true.
