How to create a Maven build for an ADF application 

 

Below steps describes creating pom.xml for ADF application and project (ADF Maven pom.xml file)

 

1. Create a sample ADF application using your JDeveloper 12C. Below is my sample ADF web application has a View and Model project

2. Create a deployment profile for both the ViewController and Model project. The deployment profile for ViewController is ‘war’ file and Model is ‘ADF library jar’. Below is about creating the deployment profile for the both. The deployment profile settings will be saved in JWS file.

A) Steps to create deployment profile for ViewController, Right click the Viewcontroller project >> Deploy >> Deployment Profile >> choose WAR file >> Click OK

B) Steps to create ‘ADF Library Jar’ file for Model project ., Right-click the Model project >>Deploy >> Deployment Profile >> Choose ADF Library Jar File >> Click OK
 
Same as below screens except the below one.

3) Now create Maven POM file for the ADF application.
Click the arrow mark near to the application >> From Gallery >> Application POM >> Choose all the check boxes >> Click OK

4) The maven POM.xml file has been created for both the application and projects.
